Sitting here with my laptop, a cup of coffee gone cold beside me, I’m doing something I’ve dreamed of for years: writing the very first entry in our family’s story. A 10 years dream, a plan that was put off ever since I gave birth to my very first child. They say the days are long but the years are short. Lately, I’ve been hit with a startling, almost physical truth: they’re all growing faster than the year before, and I wasn’t able to keep a memory of it—a picture, a video, the exact sound of their laugh right now.
Not able to keep and organize their milestones, pictures and family even video are one of the many regrets I had specially now that they becoming to be “kids”. It’s not just the big milestones I fear losing, but the small, quiet textures of our life. That feeling of a small, sticky hand in mine, the whatever conversations we have in the kitchen table, the countless questions I wish I could answer them all… These are the moments that slip through the cracks of a busy life, and I’m determined to catch them.
We’re a Christian Filipino Family, living in the Philippines. As an entrepreneur parents, our schedule has always been…. fluid. Our life is a beautiful mosaic of market runs, admin calls and works, impromptu schedules to fill in, and every day is just another day full of surprises. And this year, that mosaic gained a new, vibrant piece— we became a homeschool family. No more definite school schedules- just the rhythm of our own making.
So here it is, I guess, the perfect time to start is the almost beginning of a new year 2026. This is ” The Mosquedas.” Our digital home our family’s on going story. Our story of hustle, heart and homemade lessons— a story that, above all else, is full of God’s grace.
This space is our testament to that grace—to document not just what we do, but the One whose love makes it all possible. It’s our humble way of saying, “Look what the Lord has done.”
So, with grateful hearts and a spirit of adventure, we open this door.
